More About the Team:

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine, rehabilitation and behavioral health programs. Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 76-bed specialty hospital. We have 40 acute inpatient rehabilitation beds dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

What we're looking for:

Qualifications:

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a Registered Nursing Program, preferred not required
Licenses: Nursing Assistant Certificate Preferred
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
Minimum Work Experience: Previous relevant experience in healthcare. Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • Provides direct patient care

  • Performs specific documentation in the patient's record

  • Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance

  • Communicates appropriate information in departmental and interdepartmentally

  • Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.

  • Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures
